Brittannia Firesurround in reclaimed railway sleepers

Fireplaces are traditionally the main focus point in a room, the stove acting as the beating heart, adding life and warmth to the home. The fire surround, mantle shelf and hearth make up the traditional fireplace setting.

Jarabosky use reclaimed oak and jarrah timber, primarily redundant hardwood railway sleepers.  Not to be confused with our UK softwood sleepers which weep creosote when warm.
We have been at the forefront of this type of recycling for 25 years.

The Oak or Jarrah used to make each and every fire surround is hand picked to our customers requirements from our large range of reclaimed railway sleepers.
Why not go for modern chunky designs with clean lines or lots of character, these add a sensational feature to any room or choose quite a simple design thats very effective.

Lots of character or smoother, these look a sensational feature to the room. Standard sizes are generally 50" (1500mm) in overall length by 46" (1170mm) overall height. Back edge of opening rebated to take insert of choice. Standard section of timber is usually 8" x 3" (200mm x 76mm) but it can also be made out of 9" x 4" (230mm x 100mm) for a heavier look.

Fire Surrounds are made to customers specification.

Illustrated 60" x 48" (1520mm x 1220mm) in French Oak with a Danish Oil finish  £795 Finished off with a mirror £185

Rebates incur an extra cost of £30.00 for normal depths. Very deep rebates in excess of 50mm(2") may cost a little more.
